Bio
An unexpected surprise for her parents, Noah and Grace, Ellie grew up a complete Daddy’s girl, much to the chagrin of her mother. Always a plump girl, her parents encouraged her to not be too concerned about looks. They often read to her as a child and her favorite story growing up was Beauty and the Beast. Their family has a long tradition of being pureblooded (though they did not favor any specific house), but they are not a family of distinction, though Grace was originally a Prewett (and second cousin to Molly (Prewett) Weasley). They were well off, but not what you would call wealthy. Noah was a lawyer and Grace worked in the Billings Department of St. Mungos. Ellie was sorted into Hufflepuff in 1994, promptly meeting her best friend, Owen Cauldwell. She favored Charms and Muggle Studies in school and Professor Snape absolutely terrified her into studying obsessively in his class. She graduated with a respectable number of NEWTs, considering her parents’ death was in early April of that year. She now works at Statements as the elderly owner, Milly Hamilton, is a friend of the family and Ellie gets all the free quills and journals she wants.
